As the FAC grows and adapts to our ever changing
world, it is critical that we have volunteers to help our programs
reach the level of success that our community and our members deserve!
With all the rewards of membership also comes the responsibility to be
active within the FAC. We know your time is valuable, but we
also know that we cannot continue to enhance our events without you!
We have a rich tradition of dedicated members coming through in a
pinch and really making a difference. |

|
Being a volunteer also aids in your personal growth.
You can meet others who share your passion--and together work towards the
meaningful goal of enriching our community. Through these
relationships, you will be an active role model for our youth as well as
exercising your civic skills. By volunteering, you are investing in
your future and the future of the Arts in our community! |

If you are interested in volunteering, please contact the
FAC at 740-446-3834 or
email us. There are many, many ways to
contribute. Just let us know how you can help! |

Come experience the fun of volunteering! |
| |
| We are always looking
for new volunteers, and there are opportunities to become involved in
small or big ways. |
| Here are just a few
examples: |
| Face painting- The FAC is active within the region
and often gets requests for cheek painting. You do not have to be an
artist to help!!! The designs are very simple, and seeing the
joy on a child's face is well worth the effort. |
|
Reception Committee- Many of our exhibits include an
opening reception for the artist. Members of this committee will
help design and prepare a light menu for guests to enjoy while
engaging in the discussion and appreciation of art. |
| Docents- Our
galleries are available for the community to enjoy on Sundays because
of our dedicated volunteers. Docents come in for one Sunday
afternoon approximately every other month and host the galleries for
two hours. Docents greet visitors and show them around the
exhibit. Being a gallery docent is a great honor, and the FAC
hosts an event every year to acknowledge our docents. |
