|
Our dance instructor, Kristel Bowman, is a
junior at Ohio University studying Education and Dance. Her
background is outstanding. She comes from a family of dancers and
has been surrounded by dance since birth.
Kristel began dancing at the age of 3 at her grandparent’s school,
Bruckman School of Dance, in Pittsburgh, Pa. studying ballet and
tap. Since then, she has studied with many instructors at many
studios including Ballet Met in Columbus and Ohio University. She
is accomplished in all styles of dance including tap, ballet,
jazz, modern, lyrical, pointe and video jazz.
Kristel began instructing on a regular basis in 2002 at Bruckman
School of Dance. In the summer of 2005 she was sought out to teach
at The Providence Family Support Center, in Pittsburgh, Pa.
Kristel was also sought out by The North Hills High School dance
team to choreograph and instruct competition routines for the
following school year.
Kristel is accomplished at teaching all afore mentioned styles of
dance as well as pre-ballet and pre-dance. She has experience in
teaching students of all ages, from 3-40.
Kristel has studied ballet, modern, jazz, and choreography at Ohio
University and has completed the core curriculum of her dance
degree there. She is now studying outside of Ohio University’s
main requirements of ballet and modern. |

formerly the Oscars Building. The studio features a sprung dance
floor to reduce stress on joints |
